Everyone knows how I worked. But not everyone saw how God found me. I want you to know that I never proved I deserved God's love — I received it, and in that grace I learned to build.
My biggest mistake was letting the company receive the best of me and the family, the leftovers. Do not repeat it. Work hard, but work in covenant — never make the home the reserve bank of the career.
Value the truth when it costs dearly, the word you keep, and whole presence. Treat money as an instrument, work as service, and marriage as covenant.
And may Christ be the center of all you build. This is my blessing: may you be found faithful before you are found successful.
